My Hobbies

Some of my hobbies includes:

Books:

Almost every day, I read something. It doesn't matter if it's a book, article, history, news, or a document; I am always reading. I love reading, especially romance novels with happy endings. When I read, I want to escape reality, so I prefer to read fiction.

Resident Evil:

The Resident Evil games and movies are the best I have ever seen; they truly are amazing. Although I have never played the games myself, I have watched many people playing them on YouTube. Resident Evil, known as Biohazard in Japan, is a Japanese horror game series and media franchise created by Capcom. It consists of survival horror, third-person shooter and first-person shooter games, with players typically surviving in environments inhabited by zombies and other mutated creatures. My favourites are Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil Village. The next one is coming out soon, so I am excited! Watching the games and movies is the best feeling. I might someday play it myself.

History:

I find it challenging to express my feelings about history. On one hand, it brings me joy with its beautiful aspects—such as the Renaissance, intriguing stories like the Enlightenment, scientific revelations, and Romantic Art. On the other hand, there is a darker side filled with warfare that starkly reminds us of humanity's capacity for both destruction and beauty. My fascination with history grew during my time in grade 10 when I had a history class as my last period of the day. I loved that class, especially because I had an amazing teacher who made the lessons unforgettable. Every day when I returned home, I would eat my lunch while watching historical documentaries about World War I, World War II, the Cold War, and many other topics.
More about me

In grade 11, I had to choose another class, and I decided to take another history course focused on the 15th century. That class was so enjoyable, even though our teacher would often read directly from the slides. We learned about a wide range of topics, including the fall of the Roman Empire, the rise of the church's power, the Black Plague, the Hundred Years' War, the Architectural Revolution, the Renaissance, the Medici family, the Enlightenment, the Tudor family, Louis XIV, the French Revolution, scientific revelations, and Romantic Art, as well as classical music and arts. We even organized a History Fair at our school, where I dressed up as Hurrem Sultan, also known as Roxelana. She was the chief consort and legal wife of the Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and became one of the most powerful and influential women in Ottoman history. I had a great time dressing up and portraying her during the fair.

Art and Architecture:

All I can say is that I adore arts and architecture, especially classical, vinatge and religious styles and many more from the Renaissance and Gothic. I intend to travel to Italy, England, Russia, and many other places to explore that beautiful art and those incredible sites. I have to admit, I dislike modern art and design; it just isn't my vibe. It lacks character and history, making it feel so empty.

Watch:

I love watching movies, especially Disney movies, romantic, action, and fantasy. I enjoy rewatching my favourite shows and just chilling, and perhaps some snacks by my side.

Libraries:

Libraries are probably one of my favorite places to visit. I haven't been to many libraries, but whenever I do go, whether it's at school or elsewhere, it feels like I'm in another world. I spent a lot of time in my school library, reading and browsing through the books. One day, I intend to create my own library. I've even started collecting books, and so far I have more than 20 book so far(I know its not that much but its a start I guess).
